At present, the high-strength steel strip used by Anshan Iron and Steel is divided into imported and domestically produced high-strength steel strips. Imported high-strength steel strips are mainly used for bundling of hot-rolled coils, and domestic steel strips are mainly used for packaging of cold-rolled coils. Because imported balers have strict requirements on the mechanical properties and size specifications of the packaging steel belts, domestic packaging steel belts cannot completely replace imports, which undoubtedly increases the production cost of the enterprise.
In 2007, Ansteel Group Corporation decided to invest in the construction of a high-strength packaging steel belt production line. The Packaging Steel Belt Co., Ltd. jointly funded by Anshan Iron and Steel Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. [14.500.28%] came into being. Packaging Steel Strip Company cooperated with Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute to apply the water quenching heat treatment process to the production of packaging steel strip for the first time in the world, abandoning the lead bath quenching technology under the traditional process system, and realizing the environmental protection and pollution-free production process , The surface of the steel strip does not contain lead.
In June of this year, the trial-produced high-strength steel strip began to be tested on the cold-rolled silicon steel production line, the 1780 production line and the 2150 production line automatic baler. The trial results prove that the mechanical and physical properties of the product have reached the international standards for high-strength packaging steel belts.
It is reported that Ansteel will build a new high-strength packaging steel belt production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons in the next step, forming a specialized production scale serving Anshan Iron and Steel and going to the domestic and foreign markets, and will contribute to Anshan Iron and Steel's international and diversified operations. Due contribution.
