Brief introduction of redox hot-dip galvanizing of packaging steel strip
This method is a hot-dip galvanizing method that eliminates surface pretreatment methods such as washing, pickling and solvent treatment. The process is to first pass the steel parts through a preheating furnace with an oxidizing atmosphere (the heating temperature in the furnace is 440-460°C), and then send the workpiece into a reducing atmosphere furnace to reduce the oxide scale and heat it to a specified temperature. Then the steel parts are immersed in a zinc bath at a temperature of about 440-460℃ for galvanizing. This method is currently a relatively advanced hot-dip galvanizing method.
The speed at which steel parts are extracted from the zinc liquid has a great influence on the thickness of the pure zinc layer. The extraction speed is low and the layer is thin; the extraction speed is high and the layer is thick. Therefore, the extraction speed should be appropriate. If the speed is too high, the zinc liquid brought out will not have time to drip, which will make the coating uneven; if the speed is too low, the pure zinc layer will be too thin or even disappear, and the plasticity will decrease.
