Brief Introduction of Spiral Pickling of Packaging Steel Strip
　　 In order to pickle medium and wide steel with a width of 60-800mm, a spiral pickling was developed. During pickling, the strip passes through the acid solution and post-treatment section in a spiral shape in this equipment. Spiral pickling equipment occupies less ground. Figure 3-9 is a schematic diagram of the spiral pickling equipment.
　　 There is an uncoiler, welding machine or stitching machine in the feed section of the equipment, and a storage belt coiler in front of the lead roller of the pickling tip. The strip steel storage capacity on this machine can keep the strip steel running normally when the strip is connected and stopped. The strip steel is turned before entering the pickling tank and is bent into a spiral shape by a pinch roll. The spiral strip rotates spirally through the acid liquid on the drive shaft. During the operation, the strip steel is taken out of the pickling tank every one revolution and comes into contact with atmospheric oxygen, which is good for pickling and can well control the pickled stalks. The back part is now connected to the back of the pickling tank, and the strip steel also spirals through these post-treatment tanks. Then, the strip steel enters the tension roller through the steering roller and synchronizer on the transmission support shaft, and is sent to the discharge section for coiling or further processing. The monthly production capacity of this type of equipment fluctuates in the range of 1500-5000t.
