Brief Introduction of Types of Position Detectors for Packaging Steel Strip Rolling Parts
The rolling piece position detector has the following types:
(1) Hot metal detector HMD. When the hot-rolled product reaches the position of the detector, the infrared radiated by the hot-rolled product is focused by the objective lens, and through a filter that cuts off visible light, the person hits the photoelectric conversion element (silicon solar cell, etc.) placed at the focal point for photoelectric conversion. The output of the photoelectric conversion element is amplified by a DC amplifier and used as a control signal. The influence of rolling temperature or water vapor should be considered during use.
(2) Gamma ray detector. Used in heating furnace and rough rolling process rolling piece or plate edge detection. The gamma-ray source and gamma-ray detector are respectively placed on both sides of the plate. When the steel plate arrives, the signal from the detector changes sharply, and this signal is amplified as a control signal. The work of the γ-ray plate edge detector is not affected by the temperature change of the rolling piece and the water vapor.
(3) The light emitted by the illuminator or laser source of the oscillating circuit frequency conversion of the cold metal detector is received by the light receiver and converted into the output voltage of the photosensitive tube, and then amplified and detected to become the output signal. When the head of the plate reaches or the tail leaves the position of the detector, due to the radiation, reflection or shading of the plate, the amount of light received by the light receiver changes, causing the output signal to change, so that the edge position of the plate can be detected.
