Rolling deformation resistance of SUS430 hot-rolled steel strip

Steel strip rolling deformation resistance Figure 5-29 shows the high temperature true stress-true strain curve of SUS430 steel obtained by the gleeble testing machine. Similar to the curve in Figure 5-28, the deformation rate increases, and the high temperature deformation resistance of steel increases significantly. When the steel temperature is 1100℃, the deformation resistance is 75-100MPa, and the maximum deformation resistance is 150MPa at 950℃. Compared with high temperature and low speed deformation resistance, it is improved by 100MPa. Under the same temperature conditions, the deformation resistance is much lower than that of SUS304 steel. For SUS430 steel, there is no rolling mill capacity problem in terms of rolling mill load. According to the equipment capacity and the low deformation resistance of SUS8430 steel, the deformation load can be reasonably distributed, the quality can be improved, and the production efficiency can be improved.
   Figure 5-30 shows a typical rough rolling mill pass reduction ratio and finishing mill load distribution ratio of 30mm SUS430 hot-rolled steel strip. In the first few passes of rough rolling, the rolling bite of the slab should be ensured, and the ability of the rolling mill should be exerted in the subsequent passes to increase the pass reduction rate. In order to ensure the stability of rolling, it is necessary to ensure a certain amount of deformation at the exit stand of the finishing mill, so that the shape and thickness of the steel strip can be effectively controlled.
