With the development of cold-formed steel, its use continues to expand, especially its corrosion resistance requirements are getting higher and higher. In order to extend the life of the product, surface-treated packaging steel strips are used to manufacture cold-formed steel. Surface treatment steel plates mainly include metal-coated packaging steel belts, organic coating packaging steel belts, organic film laminated packaging steel belts, and surface-polished packaging steel belts.
The commonly used metal-coated packaging steel strip in the production of cold-formed steel is galvanized packaging steel strip. Zinc-plated packaging steel strip is divided into two types: hot-dip galvanized packaging steel strip and electro-galvanized packaging steel strip. The cold-formability and surface quality of electro-galvanized packaging steel strips are better than those of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, and packaging steel strips with complex cross-section shapes can be formed. At present, alloyed galvanized sheet, aluminum-zinc alloy steel sheet and single-sided galvanized sheet are also used in foreign countries to produce cold-formed steel, which has higher abrasion resistance than hot-dip galvanized sheet. In addition, in addition to galvanized packaging steel strips, aluminum, copper, titanium, chrome, nickel and other steel plates are also used to produce cold-formed steel for specific purposes.
