A qualified packaging steel strip needs to go through many processes, and most products have a protective device when they are just opened. Therefore, the packaging steel strip needs some follow-up processing before leaving the factory. What are the steps for post-processing?
Post-processing can be divided into three steps: passivation, pre-phosphating, and oiling.
1. Passivation: As the last process of chemical cleaning, the purpose of passivation is to ensure the corrosion resistance of the material. The surface of passivated metal products will form a protective film to slow down the corrosion cycle. The passivation process is simple and convenient. It only needs to add high-efficiency corrosion inhibitors and fog inhibitors to prevent metal corrosion.
2. Pre-phosphorizing: The pre-phosphorized hot-dip galvanized steel strip can form a solid phosphate lubricating film that is conducive to stamping and improve corrosion resistance.
3. Oiling: The function of oiling is to prevent the steel plate from rusting, which can ensure that there will be no qualitative change under normal temperature and dry environment.
